CHRISTMAS is fast approaching and
with kids around the country busy
writing their wish-lists for Santa, Celtic
have joined in the Christmas spirit by
releasing a short festive feature which
shows members of the first-team squad
making dreams come true for a young
Celtic fan.
With much excitement among
Christmas shoppers in recent weeks over
the release of other high street retailers'
Christmas ads, Celtic have produced
a short film which is bound to bring
Christmas cheer to Celtic fans around
the world.
The new film features a great range
of Christmas gift ideas for the festive
season, all available in-store and online
at www.celticsuperstore.co.uk
It stars eight-year-old Gregor
Selkirk, who features as Callum, the
Celtic-daft kid whose imaginary
friend just happens to be his favourite
player, Celtic captain Scott Brown.
In one scene, Gregor and some of his
friends enjoy a kick-about in the garden
joined by each of their own imaginary
friends, Celtic stars Gary Mackay-Steven,
James Forrest and Tom Rogic.
And, of course, no Christmas film
would be complete without a happy
ending and Scott Brown is on hand to
ensure that little Callum's Christmas wish
comes true.
Of his appearance, the Celtic captain
said: "It was something a wee bit
different and great fun to be involved in.
"To be fair, Gregor was the real star of
the show and it was pretty funny seeing
snow in the middle of October!
"I'm not sure I'll be sent an Oscar for
my performance, but hopefully the fans
will have a laugh at least when they
see it."
