Recruited to add steel, energy and drive to a youthful side, the Serbian internationalist has also brought a decent amount of goals, finding the net four times in 12 league games to help the Amsterdam outfit move into pole position in the championship race. Plowever, this goal threat shouldn't be a surprise given he struck 11 times in 33 league games in the previous campaign for AZ. Gudelj has spent his entire professional career in Dutch football, starting out with NAC Breda before moving to Alkmaar, where his influence on the side saw him elevated to the captaincy. Fiaving been capped at youth level for his country, he made his full international bow early in March 2014 in a 2-1 win over the Republic of Ireland. Fie has now amassed over 10 caps for Serbia, scoring his first goal in a 2-0 victory over Greece 12 months ago.
