Frank de Boer's team finished on 76 points - six points clear of PSV - after winning 23, drawing seven and losing just four of their 34 Eredivisie matches. Along the way they scored 93 goals, and conceded just 36. It was Ajax's second successive title under de Boer, but prior to that Ajax had gone seven seasons without winning the Eredivisie crown.
