FORWARD: 21 year old Uruguayan
who scored 17 goals for the club
last season. Started out his career at
Nacional in Uruguay before joining
FC Groningen in 2006. After one
season he joined Ajax last summer.
Suaraz made his debut for Uruguay
in February 2007 and has become
a key member of Uruguay's FIFA
2010 World Cup Qualifiers.
FORWARD: A lethal finisher at club
level with 70 Eredivisie goals in 82
games), the 24-year-old regained
the Eredivisie top scorer prize in
2007/08 with 33 goals in only 34
appearances. Huntelaar scored
in Holland's Euro 2008 victory
over Romania. Had spells with
PSV Eindhoven, De Graafschap,
AGOVV Apeldoorn (loan) and
Heervenveen before making
the switch to the Amsterdam
ArenA in the 2005/06 season.
FORWARD: The 19-year-old Serbian
striker scored 15 goals in 34 games
for Heerenveen and joined Ajax for
£12.8 million this summer - the biggest
domestic transfer ever in Holland.
Sulejmani made his international
debut for Serbia earlier this year
in the friendly against Macedonia.
Last season, he was given the
Johan Cruyff award for Talent of
the Year in the Dutch league.
FORWARD: Born in Argentina,
Cvitanich joined Ajax this summer
from Argentine side Club Atlético
Banfield. The 24 year old striker
made his debut for Banfield in 2003.
Cvitanich has played 90 matches
for Banfield, with 31 goals.
FORWARD: Best known to North East
fans for his spell at Newcastle, the 30-
year-old Spanish international joined
Ajax last summer. Luque can play on
the left hand side of midfield or as
a forward. Luque started his career
in the youth academy of Barcelona,
before spells at Real Mallorca and
Malaga CF (loan). In 2002, Luque
made his debut for Spain, where he has
earned 17 caps. He joined Deportivo
La Coruna in 2002 and played 101
matches for the club, scoring 26 goals.
