Ogararu signed for Ajax from Steaua Bucharest for $4m at the
start of the 2006/07 season, making the defender the second
most expensive transfer from a Romanian club. The 27-year-
old is a strong, competitive right-back and is an important
member of Henk Ten Cate's squad.

talents and he made his first-team debut against Roda JC in
February 2005 at the age of 20. Weeks later he macle his
senior international debut for Holland and also played in the
2006 World Cup against Argentina. A skilful, intelligent
playmaker, Maduro is a typically assured product of the Ajax
youth academy.

Sneijder is a midfield general but occasionally he has been
used on the left wing such is his adaptability. Despite his slight
nature, the Dutch international is strong on the ball and his
passing range is enhanced by his ability with both feet. He is
also a free-kick specialist and scored an impressive 18 league
goals during the 2006/07 season.

started his career with Ajax and helped the club win three

former Ajax manager Louis Van Gaal due to his fierce and
uncompromising style of play, Davids has made over 70
appearances for Holland and remains a world-class performer.
