Beasley got his first taste of Scottish
opposition last weekend in Alex Totten's
testimonial and insists he is equipped to
cope with the rigors of life in the SPL.
He believes playing in the Premiership
with Manchester City has toughened
him up and some words of wisdom
from Chris Burke can work in his favour.
DaMarcus added: "I am really
enjoying everything here at Rangers, it's
been a pleasurable experience so far.
"I am focused on trying to find a house
and settle in as quickly as possible. I am
quite adaptable and don't normally find it
hard to adjust to new surroundings,
hopefully this will be the same.
"It will take time for the team to forge
a really good understanding but with
hard work that will come.
"Everyone has been very welcoming
and it's clear there is a lot of quality in
the squad.
"I have obviously played on the other
side to Burkey and he is a great
winger. I have been really impressed
with him so far.
"He offers a lot on the right side and
is capable of giving us a boost when
we need it.
"Even on the left he can do good
things too and it's encouraging to see
youngsters from the club like him
making it all the way.
"He has a lot of talent and I am
looking forward to linking with him and
between us hopefully we can create
lots of chances for the strikers.
"Wingers do pick up injuries
because of mistimed tackles, it
happens sometimes.
"I have nearly always been the smallest
player on the field so I know guys are
going to come in a try to hit me hard.
"I learnt a lot in England last season,
it was tough initially but once I figured
out how things worked I managed to
make more space.
"It is part of the game but my job is
to know when to jump!"B
