challenge and he certainly played his part. Brought in from Maidstone for £35,000 at the end of March, he will
be best remembered for his first goal for Burnley it was the fastest scored by a Claret all season, and for many
before moving on to Maidstone
as they established themselves
as a Football League outfit.
