Born 22/3/63
A Swedish export who played for IFK
Norrkoping and IFK Gothenburg before
becoming Ajax's record signing at £1 3m.
Made his comeback several weeks ago after
a 7 month lay off through injury. He has 15
international caps for Sweden.
PAUL FISCFIER (Forward).
Born 29/1/66
Hungarian international striker signed from
Ferencvaros at the start of the season and is
already proving his quality in front of goal.
RONALD DE BOER (Forward).
Born 15/5/70
Been with Ajax since an early age. Links
well with Fischer up front and is top scorer
this season with seven goals in 14 games.
ARON WINTER (Midfielder).
Born 1/3/67
Another Surinam 'product', though Dutch
born. Turned pro in 1985 with Ajax and
became a regular during the 1986-87
season. Tipped for a place in Holland's
World Cup squad.
DENNIS BERGKAMP (Midfielder).
Born 10/5/69
One of the most promising youngsters at
Ajax. An attacking midfielder with a prolific
scoring record already.
JOHNNY VAN T'SHIP (Midfielder).
Born 30/12/63
Came through the ranks at Ajax. Now well
established in the international side, he is
often a controversial player. A tall, loping
winger, with fine ball control.
RON WILLEMS (Midfielder).
Born 20/9/66
Now back in the side following a year out
