Has played all his senior football at Ajax,
first at left-back. Only survivor of the great
team who took the Champions' Cup treble
between 1971-73, though he missed the
1971 Final because of a broken leg. Never
sent off in more than 400 domestic league
and cup games. Played in every qualifying
and finals match for Holland team who
were 1974 and 1978 World Cup runners-up

Jan Everse (Left-Back) 25
Signed from great rivals Feyenoord two
years ago but was mainly a reserve last

Soren Lerby (Midfield) 21
Danish International whom Ajax snapped
up at 17. Has six Under-21 caps and more

left-back but since moving into midfield
has scored many vital goals.
Frank Arnesen (Midfield) 22
Another Danish International, whose
career has matched that of Lerby. Had
won 20 youth caps when Ajax signed him

One of the few products of Holland's

helping Borussia Moenchengladbach win
the 1975 UEFA Cup before joining Madrid
a year later. Tall and lanky, with more than
30 Danish caps.
Cor Brom Team Coach
