THE Motherwell F. C. Road Show will
take to the roads in early August, but
secretaries of youth clubs, social clubs
and voluntary organisations are in
vited to write into Fir P ark and ask for
a visit.
The Club's "Other team" will
comprise four members a director
or official of the club and two (perhaps
three) players. A brief talk a film show
and exhibition or sports quiz by the
players will follow depending on
facilities.
It is planned to map out a
programme to take this "team"
throughout the winter months and
club secretaries should apply as soon
as possible giving an alternative date
where possible to ease the fixture
card.
This is another phase in the club's
bid to take the game and its
"faceless men" and personalities to
the football-going public in a bid to
interest the public and try to inform
them when plans are being made at
Fir Park.
