Ruud Suurendonk

job is office work. He
has developed quickly
into one of the most
reliable members of
the rear-guard.
Sjaak Swart
Outside-right. Another
international with 34
caps to his credit.
Swart has played close
on 600 games for the
club. He is shop-owner.
Piet Keizer
Outside-left. Another
full-time professional,
Keizer's career was
seriously threatened
with a premature end
ing after a bad injury
four years ago. A most
dangerous winger who
can score goals with
either foot. Played for
Holland on 18 occa
sions.
Johan Cruijff
Inside-forward. Foot
baller of the year 1967
and I968. He is a full-
time professional. Has
played for the National
team on 10 occasions.
Klaas Nuninga
Inside-left. He is
schoolteacher by pro
fession, but in 1966 he
signed a full-time pro
fessional contract with
Ajax. Nuninga did not
impress in his first
season, but after
trainer-coach Michels
took hi/n in hand he
regained his old form.
He has been capped 22
times.
