Swedish man - profile THE HUMAN RACES THE SWEDE AND HIS MIND People from Central Europe, tired of the growing manana-philosophy, began to populate Sweden 10,000 years ago. Here, only the strongest minds survived the boring environment (fig. 1), mammoth-hunting and the long winters. Today, the remains are known as the Swedish Race. The Swede's mind is, as anything else, formed by its history. Life was filled with hard work and there was no time, need or energy left for changing moods (fig. 2-4). Surely, wild animals are not caught by strong emotions and this, of course, prevented any development of temperament. In time it became necessary for Swedes to do business with other races. For this purpose they developed a primitive (fig. 5) but effective look-alike behavior. Tell a Swede something very, very funny (fig. 6) and he will smile, not laugh. Insult him and he will look sad but he will never go mad. This is not always the whole truth, however (fig. 7). The mild reaction is also quite often due to the fact (fig. 8) that they simply don't get the point. fig 5. Mammoth hunter fig 6. Hard work fig 7. Strong emotions fig 8.
