Management team
Together with the Board of Directors, the following officials form the management team of
the Company:
M.P. Olsen (48), Director of Professional Football
Morten Olsen was born in Denmark, and has built a playing career in football for the past
22 years. Among other clubs, he played for Anderlecht and ï.FC Köln. He played a record-
breaking 102 International matches for Denmark's national team. Olsen worked as a trainer
with 'Brpndby' and ï.FC Köln before he was appointed Director of Professional Football
with Ajax.
J.A.W. Westerhof (49), Director of Training
Hans Westerhof received his degree in physical education in 1971, after which he was a
teacher at the CIOS in Heerenveen (The Netherlands) until 1992. His career in football
training started with the amateur club 'Oranje-Nassau' in Sneek, after which he trained the
clubs ACV, FC Groningen, PSV, and FC Groningen again. In 1997, he was appointed Director
of Training with Ajax.
E.C.M. Lefeber (36), Assistant Director of Operations
Before Ed Lefeber was appointed Information Manager with Ajax, he worked at Kas-
Associatie N.V., PPGM Pensioenverzekeringen, and Top Sports Group. Ed Lefeber became
an Ajax member in 1976. Between 1992 and 1995 he served in the Members' Council of
Ajax, and since 1992 he has been active in youth training.
